Supported by the Istanbul Jazz Festival, the Young Jazz+ project, which helps young musicians take their first steps into the professional music scene, has released its fifth album this year.

Young Jazz+ 25 brings together previously unreleased original compositions by six emerging bands, moving between jazz, funk, R&B, neo-soul, electronic and hip-hop.

Produced as part of the festival organised by İKSV with the sponsorship of Garanti BBVA, the album is available on all digital platforms with the support of the İKSV Young Artist Fund and in collaboration with Universal Music Türkiye.

The groups selected for this year’s programme performed at Jazz in the Parks concerts throughout the summer, and later in August, they entered the studio to work with experienced producers matched to their musical styles. pûr and Leviers worked with Sinan Sakızlı; calico and Fuji with Selen Gülün; Triosu with Ayşe Tütüncü; and KAOS with Zeynep Oktar. Recording, mixing and mastering were carried out by Sinan Sakızlı, while group photos were taken by Mete Kaan Özdilek.
