Most of the members of Turkiko Band are students from Istanbul University Turkish Music Conservatoire. Despite their affiliation with modern jazz forms, because of their education and personal tastes, Turkiko Band is a group which can’t turn its back to Turkish music. The band performs their interpretations of well known Turkish songs, besides their original compositions.

Formed in 2003 at Yildiz Technical University , Berkant Çelen Trio got together in the mentorship of master bassist Kamil Erdem. The band will be performing jazz standards and Berkant Çelen’s original compositions.
