Randy Crawford and Joe Sample have come together 30 years after their first collaboration in 70s jazz-funk band The Crusaders’ famous album, Street Life. Singer Randy Crawford began her musical career at the end of the 60s, working with Quincy Jones and George Benson, later teaming up with Joe Sample’s The Crusaders. Joe Sample is known as one of the most important pianists of the pop-jazz scene, and has also worked with universally recognised names such as Miles David and B.B. King. Crawford and Sample got back together to release the album, Feeling Good in 2006, in which they brought to listeners a fresh new fusion of pop, jazz and R&B. After spending the last year touring some of the world’s most prestigious jazz festivals, they will indulge us in a musical voyage of jazz, R&B, soul, pop and Latin music during their Istanbul performances.
