The Festival once more cannot be contained to concert halls and clubs, and the groove overflows to the streets of Istanbul, as every year, this time with one of the most celebrated and entertaining bands of New Orleans. The unequalled and unique New Wave Brass Band led by Oscar R. Washington follows Ragtime, Dixieland and traditional New Orleans jazz style, stays true to the spirit of Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Domino and James Avery, all the while is inspired from funk and new wave.
