Known worldwide for the goblet drum and “dehollo” techniques he invented and developed, as well as his approach to rhythm and his solos, Mısırlı Ahmet will be accompanied by celebrated tabla master Zakir Hussain, one of the important musicians of classical Indian music and the jazz world, and sitar virtuoso Niladri Kumar, who is regarded as one of the youngest masters of classical Indian music.
