One of the pioneers of the singer-songwriter tradition, famous American folk singer Paul Simon is in Istanbul for the first time! Hailed as one of the biggest music legends, the artist has enjoyed a dazzling solo career involving masterpieces he wrote as part of the iconic duo Simon and Garfunkel and his classics such as “You Can Call me Al”, “Graceland”, “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover” and “Late in the Evening.” Listed by the Time Magazine among the “100 People Who Shape Our World” in 2006, Paul Simon joins the festival as part of his European tour of his new solo album So Beautiful or So What released in the spring of 2011.
