This year, the festival presents a concert series dedicated to music originating from Canada. Hailing from Vancouver, Brandi Disterheft and her trio will open the night with their dynamic music that impresses the listener with its originality and influences ranging from jazz to blues, bebop and ballads. One of the finest voices of her generation, Torontonian Kellylee Evans will be on stage after Disterheft. Evans released her album The Good Girl in 2010 to critical acclaim and yet again, her vocal skills are at their best in her 2013 album And So We Dance. Babazula, the band that comes to mind when one thinks of Turkish psychedelia will close the night with their colourful stage performance.
