Bringing together young jazz musicians, “Young Faces of the Festival” features Volkan Önal, among the winners of the 10th Nardis Youth Jazz Vocal Competition, with his solo guitar performance. Following Önol, Deniz Taşar will be on stage with her band. Taşar was among the winners of the last year’s Young Jazz Competition, as well as the winner of the Nardis Youth Jazz Vocal Competition and won “Best Interpretation” award in Akbank Jazz Festival’s JamZZ competition. Tolga Erzurumlu, who is also among the winners of last year’s Young Jazz Competition and has received “Best Improvisation” award in JamZZ, will be on stage with Tamer Temel, Turgut Alp Bekoğlu and Kağan Yıldız for the closing performance of the night.
