The Bad Plus, an avant-garde jazz trio which have a well-earned reputation for pushing the limits on what is expected of a piano-bass-drums trio, and Joshua Redman, one of the most acclaimed and charismatic jazz saxophonists, unite their forces on the festival stage. Before their performance, one of the European Jazz’s rising stars, French accordionist Vincent Peirani will be on stage with his quintet.
