Following the success of previous years, Istanbul Jazz Festival is holding the free and phenomenal outdoor event once again. The finalists of the ‘Young Jazz’ music competition 95th Jazz Ensemble, Ersin Özer Quartet, Geeva Flava, Gagarin Jazz Band, Naimian Trio will also be presented on stage.

Ersin Özer Quartet
The band, which has a wide musical range from jazz standards to idiosyncratic arrangements, features Engin Özşahin on piano, Neyzen Özsarı on bass guitar, and Egemen Özkasnaklı on drums and was brought together by Istanbulite musician and trombonist Ersin Özer in October 2015.

95th Jazz Ensemble
The band, which is composed of Ömer Koşar on alto sax, Efe Artun Yüksel on guitar, Anıl Deniz on counter bass, and Batuhan Toyhan on drums, started its musical journey in 2015 in Bodrum and continues in İzmir. The band aims to put their own twist on jazz songs.

Geeva Flava
Geeva Flava is Ömer Kaya on guitar, Aybars Gülümser on bass, Berkin Özbatur and Kerem Duru on drums, Can Arsoy on keyboard, Yılmazcan Ersayın on trumpet, Özgün Tuncer on sax, and Naz Uğurlu on vocals. The band performs in a wide array of musical genres including blues, ambient, electronica, post-rock, acid jazz, funk and experiments in various uncharted musical territories as well.
