CEVDET EREK
Cevdet Erek has been churning out successful works in various disciplines focusing on sound, music, architecture and visual arts for many years now. The artist, who has been a constant on our radar with his solo work following his Nekropsi phase, his scores for films such as Sivas and Abluka, and of course his piece at the Pavilion of Turkey for La Biennale di Venezia titled ÇIN, released his solo debut Davul in 2017. Erek brings his idiosyncratic style to drumming and his conceptual music treads the experimental waters of rhythm, measure and silence.
Cevdet Erek will perform twice at Moda Sahnesi, first at 19.30, then at 00.45.
