A lush green park, vehicles carrying people in a hurry… Habitat Park near the Nişantaşı entrance of Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Centre is like a small representation of Istanbul, it is also one of the hosts of the Jazz in the Parks series. Saynur Eren Quartet, An Quartet, Güneş Özgeç and Kam will join the festivities at the park with their music on September 5. Wandering on the axis of experimental folk-rock and jazz, Kam is known for their confident improvisations grounded in the ensemble members’ long-time collaboration. Our musical journey in the park will be extensive; Saynur Eren Quartet, one of the highlights of the new generation jazz scene, An Quartet who has a range extending from jazz standards to funk, and Güneş Özgeç who became well known for her covers and has more recently turned to a different path, will also be on stage. Do not miss this park meeting where social distancing rules will be observed yet melodies will bring listeners closer together.
