She was only seven when she started learning the piano, and sixteen when she was discovered playing the piano at her father’s restaurant where she used to help. Karsu's story is a musical journey spanning from a village called Karsu in Hatay to New York... At the current stop of her journey, she is inspired by and focuses on the legendary works of Atlantic Records, founded by songwriter and one of the most important figures in modern recording history, Ahmet Ertegün. Karsu displays her vocal and piano skills with an energetic and high-tempo orchestra and brings together musicians from different generations and genres on her stage. During the night, you will listen to Karsu’s interpretations of songs by legends of the jazz and blues worlds including Ray Charles, The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, Bee Gees, Led Zeppelin and Eric Clapton.
