A meaningful opening on the 30th anniversary of the festival

The Istanbul Jazz Festival, one of the most well-established festivals in Turkey, which has given the stage to hundreds of musicians to date, welcomes its 30th anniversary with a magnificent night. On this exciting night, Austrian psychedelic jam band Takeshi’s Cashew, which fuses Anatolian funk, progressive, Krautrock, and Afrobeat with Latin influences, will deliver an energetic performance. With flutes from different cultures, exciting drum rhythms and Anatolian funk tunes, Takeshi’s Cashew promises our guests an evening they can’t stand still.
