A folk wave spreading from North America to the world
The Lumineers have managed to expand their folk music adventure, with its humble beginnings in the tiny music clubs of Denver, Colorado, to the whole world. Following their successful debut with “Ho Hey” in 2012, they received worldwide recognition, drawing inspiration from legends such as Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, and Tom Petty. The Lumineers have gained a considerable fan base for their subtle and touching songs that tell the sad stories behind smiling faces, including the cinematic “Stubborn Love”, “Ophelia”, “Angela”, and “Cleopatra”. The Lumineers has solidified its place among the greatest bands of the modern folk genre in a brief period of 10 years. For this concert, Adamlar, one of Turkey’s favourite new-generation bands, will be warming up the stage for The Lumineers. All music lovers are invited to Parkorman to watch The Lumineers and, before that, Adamlar, who blends rock music with humour and a dash of irony.
