As part of Garanti BBVA Talks organised by the 32nd Istanbul Jazz Festival, sponsored by Garanti BBVA and hosted by Salt, the talk "Max Richter's Music and the Design of Music in Contemporary Art from Cinema" will be held in collaboration with the Istanbul Film Festival. The talk will delve into the music of Max Richter, exploring the processes behind creating film scores, their impact on narrative, the connection with the audience, as well as their evolution and similarities with other disciplines. The discussion will also highlight the intersections between film music and contemporary art, focusing on the work of composer and pianist Max Richter, whose scores for films such as Shutter Island and Arrival have left a significant mark.
